Terry Conner, CFP^®

Terry Conner, CFP®, has been a financial services professional since 1992. During this time, Terry founded Wealth Management, Inc., and was also the owner of The Mutual Fund Store in Springfield, Missouri, which was acquired by a national RIA in 2016. Currently, Terry serves as owner and managing director of Prime Capital Investment Advisors of the Ozarks, a fee-based financial planning firm that serves as a fiduciary to its clients.

He has an undergraduate degree in industrial engineering from the University of Missouri where he graduated summa cum laude in 1996. The same year, he also became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®).

Terry is passionate about helping clients plan for the future and retire with dignity. Often his services span multiple generations of the clients he serves. With almost 30 years of experience, he believes that his greatest contribution to his clients’ potential success is helping them mitigate the possibility of making mistakes with their retirement funds. He believes that one’s direction, not their intention, determines a person’s ultimate destination.

Through the avoidance of unintentional financial mistakes, coupled with prudent and thoughtful planning, he believes clients can arrive at their intended financial goals with peace of mind. Achieving life goals and dreams is a very intentional process, and we are passionate about helping our clients complete it successfully.

As change is inevitable, Terry is committed to keeping PCIA at the forefront of planning and investments with consistent revisitation of each financial plan. He particularly enjoys the continuous process of customizing portfolios, including the use of private equity if appropriate. In addition to his CFP® accreditation, Terry has passed the FINRA Series 65 securities registration.

Outside of work, Terry enjoys bass fishing, golfing and cycling. Most of his time, however, goes to his family, including his six grandchildren. He and his wife Corrinne have mentored and taught many young couples and are passionate about seeing them succeed in life. Over the years, they have taught numerous parenting, marriage and financial classes aimed at strengthening families. They have enjoyed every relationship and look to continue their work both personally and professionally!
