Frequently Asked Questions

From sitting down with clients on a daily basis, we are extremely prepared for most of the questions you may have when first meeting with us. Whether it’s about what we do or how we can help you with your plan for retirement, we’re ready with answers! Here are some answers to the questions we’re most frequently asked.

Are you a fiduciary?

At PCIA of the Ozarks, we are fee-based fiduciaries working with not just the moral obligation to do right by our clients but also the legal obligation. That means that every decision and recommendation we make must be in your best interest based on your circumstances and goals. We do this by identifying your unique goals and analyzing various strategies that might be best-suited to help you achieve them. We firmly believe that this is the best way to help you find the peace of mind you deserve as well as the commodity we believe is even more valuable than money: time.

Are you independent?

Prime Capital Investment Advisors of the Ozarks is an independent fiduciary firm. That means that we are not beholden to any specific companies, carriers or products. Between our independence and our fiduciary status, we have the ability to work on your behalf with your best interests in mind, and we can fight to find the most appropriate solutions for your situation. We compare and contrast strategies while analyzing which one pushes you closer to your objectives, then we design a custom plan that pushes you toward your desired destination.

How are you compensated?

Prime Capital Investment of the Ozarks is a fee-based fiduciary firm. That means that we earn a flat, performance-based fee. We are both obligated and incentivized to help you achieve the greatest potential growth for your future, and we disclose all fees prior to engaging in a partnership with each of our clients.

Can you work virtually with clients?

Though we certainly enjoy working with clients on a face-to-face basis, we are more than capable of interacting and meeting with you online. In this modern age, we understand if you prefer to work with us over video conferencing apps or phone calls, and our business has been built to adapt to modern technology. We also currently support clients both inside and outside of the great state of Missouri. We are used to conducting business virtually, and we would be more than excited about the opportunity to help you from across state lines.

Do you use a custodian, or are you just the custodian?

To maintain complete transparency and give you full access to your portfolio, investments and insurance products, we use multiple third-party custodians. Each of our clients at Prime Capital Investment Advisors of the Ozarks has the ability to sign into those custodians through our website. To see our selected custodians or to log in and view your portfolio, click here.

What do I need to do before meeting with you?

When first meeting with us, we’d recommend bringing any financial paperwork that you think would help us understand your current financial circumstances. That could mean recent paystubs, current budget sheets, investment statements, personal documents and more. We also strongly advise writing down a few questions you may have, as our meeting is the perfect opportunity to discuss current pain points, potential ideas and basic financial principles. If you have any questions about how to prepare for your initial consultation, please give us a call at (417) 720-4255.

Bucks N’ Trucks

Welcome to Bucks N’ Trucks featuring Collin Gimlin and Christian Conner with Prime Capital Investment Advisors of the Ozarks. In our opinion, there is not a better time of the year than deer season. We enjoy driving the trucks through the woods, unwinding in nature and the adrenaline when a big buck is in sight. There is one thing, however, that gets us even more excited. That is a well-put-together wealth management plan that leads people to a work-optional lifestyle. So, we decided to pair our two passions together, leading us to Bucks N’ Trucks. We talk about hunting bucks, saving bucks and everything in between while cruising around the heart of the Ozarks in trucks. Hop on in and learn about the power you hold in your financial life with everyday tips you can adopt to strive toward your ideal life. Check out every episode of Bucks N’ Trucks now!
